The PE film blowing machine operates based on a straightforward principle. It begins by introducing dry polyethylene particles into the lower hopper. The pellets then enter the screw via the hopper under the force of gravity. Once the particles make contact with the bevel edge of the thread, the rotating bevel edge delivers a thrust to the plastic's perpendicular edge, propelling it forward. As the plastic moves, it gradually melts due to the friction between the plastic and the screw, barrel, and the collision friction amongst the particles. The external heating of the barrel also contributes to the melting process. After melting, the plastic undergoes filtration through the machine's head to remove any impurities before being expelled from the die mouth. The air ring cools the plastic, which then passes through the herringbone plate and the traction roller before being wound onto a cylinder to produce the final film.
